Nowa książka dr Aleksandry Słyszewskiej z Instytutu Anglistyki i Amerykanistyki na Wydziale Filologicznym UG zatytułowana "Sacrament and the English Catholic Novel", wydana przez Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego, pozostaje w kręgu zainteresowań powieścią chrześcijańską, która była przedmiotem rozważań wielu pisarzy i eseistów:
