Call for papers: Filologiskt smörgåsbord no. 7 (2026)

We invite all who are interested to contribute to the next volume of the journal Filologiskt smörgåsbord, which publishes scholarly texts in the fields of linguistics, literature, cultural studies and translation, with a focus on Nordic topics. For further information on the profile of the journal, see the website:

This open-access volume will be published in electronic form in the fall of 2026. We accept both research articles and reviews of recent scholarly books and dissertations in the humanities with a connection to the Nordic region. Shorter texts such as reports and comments are also welcome. 

We wish to provide a venue for early-career researchers and students to place their first scholarly publication. Please mention this situation when submitting.
