a. to teach students how to perform a translation project
b. to teach students how to manage particular tasks of the project
c. to teach students how to conduct various stages of the project
d. to teach students how to perform various roles in the project
3. Main areas covered during the course:
a. management and realization of a translation/localization project
b. performing various roles related to the stages of the project: translator, editor, proofreader, LQA specialist, linguistic tester
c. performing roles related to specific tasks: project manager, terminology coordinator, localization engineer
d. preparation of the end product
4. Didactic methods used:
a. a project conducted throughout the whole semester
b. managing and conducting particular stages of the project
c. cooperation in groups of three/four students
d. translation, editing, proofreading, QA, LQA, linguistic testing
5. Graduate’s profile:
a. A person who can successfully cooperate with the rest of the translation team while performing a variety of stages and tasks related to a translation/localization project.
