Julian Wolfreys is Professor of English Literature at the University of Portsmouth. The author and editor of more than forty books on 19th and 20th-century English literature and culture, and literary theory, he is also a novelist, poet, and musician. His most recent publications include Draping the Sky for a Snowfall, a collection of poetry and essays, and Traces of Experience: Being, Memory, Loss (both published by Triarchy Press).
